I am a lecturer in economics at the Bradford University School of Management. I previously worked at the Imperial College London as a postdoctoral research economist (econometric modelling). I worked on a Research Councils’ sponsored project on alternative (and integrated) pest management strategies in the UK economy and technology adoption decisions, which encompasses environmental economics, resource economics and applied microeconometrics. My role on the project team included risk modelling and econometric modelling of technology adoption decisions. I am also working on a project sponsored by the Food Standards Agency, on the Effectiveness of the Reduced Salt Campaign, with researchers at the University of Kent. I am currently working on determinants of FDI and R&D flows into China, as well as structural break dating in time series models.

I completed my BA Economics (Honours) degree from the
University of Delhi and my MA (Global Political Economy) from the University of Hull. My MA was funded by the UK FCO though the British Chevening Scholarship programme. I obtained a Master's degree in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi. I completed my PhD (economics) from the University of Sheffield. I have published in refereed journals in economics and I participate regularly in international conferences in economics.
